Bruce George is consultant general and colorectal surgeon at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and honorary senior clinical lecturer at the University of Oxford.

He qualified from St. Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College in 1984 and trained in general and colorectal surgery in London and Oxford.
